Legal Protection for Debtors
People do not aspire to be victims of fraud, but unscrupulous businesses often view consumers as targets for their schemes. If you have fallen prey to an auto dealership that sold you a damaged or faulty vehicle or have endured harassment from creditors, you need an advocate on your side.
As your lawyer, I will fight hard to recover interest and fees you may have incurred, payments you made, and any other damages to which you may legally be entitled as a result of a dishonest business deal. Contact the Norris Law Firm, PLLC, for a free initial consultation.
Let the Norris Law Firm Help You
I know how frustrating it can be to be taken advantage of, and you deserve to be treated better. In fact, you may deserve to be compensated for your troubles. I am able to dedicate the time and resources necessary to find a solution to your legal problems. From negotiating payment agreements to using the North Carolina Lemon Law to obtain a new car or refund for an owner stuck with a lemon, I will do what it takes to protect your best interests.
Practice Areas
I focus my practice on consumer law issues, helping to protect North Carolina consumers from fraudulent auto dealerships and overly aggressive debt collectors, and helping owners of defective, "lemon", vehicles to uphold their rights under the North Carolina Lemon Law. For more information, please visit the links below:
North Carolina Lemon Law: The North Carolina Lemon Law protects consumers who may have purchased a defective new motor vehicle. If you have purchased a new vehicle that has been in the shop three or more times for the same problem or over twenty business days in twelve months for the same or different problems, you may be entitled to a new vehicle or a refund under the lemon law, and your attorney fees are completely covered by the automobile manufacturer. You have nothing to lose except the frustration with your car, truck, or motorcycle!
Auto Dealer Fraud: My goal is to uncover deceptive business practices and make the auto dealerships accountable for their sales practices. Auto dealer fraud takes many forms, but if you feel you may have fallen victim to a conditional or spot delivery scam or have purchased a vehicle that has been previously wrecked, but this fact was not disclosed to you, I may be able to help.
Debtor Rights: Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, debtors have rights to fair and proper treatment. I can help stop the harassment and incessant calls while working to find a payment or settlement plan that is in your best interest.
